Big Sky Season 3 - Blindspot Alums Among 5 New Cast Additions

The land of Big Sky is about to get less expansive: The ABC drama is adding five actors to its cast for its upcoming Season 3, according to our sister site Deadline.

The five additions, all in recurring roles, center around the newly introduced backwoods outfit Sunny Brick and the evil desert she runs.

Henry Ian Cusick (MacGyver, The 100) plays CTO Avery, who books himself and his stepdaughter Emily on Sunny's field trip.

Luke Mitchell (Blindspot, Marvel's Agents or S.H.I.E.L.D.), on the other hand, will play Sunny's son Cormac, who helps his mother with a tour guide.

Anirudh Pisharody (9-1-1) and Madalyn Horcher (Doom Patrol) will play Luke and Paige, a young couple from New York who attend Sunny's trip to celebrate her birthday.

Finally, Seth Gabel (Salem, Fringe) picks up Walter, a clown who lives in the wilds of Montana and has an "unpredictable personality." (Uh-oan.)

In addition, cast member J. Anthony Pena, who stands in for Mo Poppernak, was promoted to series regular upon his return last season.

With McEntire, Jensen Ackles will be a season regular next season after his debut as new Sheriff Beau Arlen in the Season 2 finale.
