Bill & Ted Battle in Classic DnD Manual Homage Covers

The new cover for Bill & Ted Roll the Dice from Opus Comics contains two rockers Wild Stallyns, who lead an expedition similar to Dungeons & Dragons.

New covers by artist Lukas Ketner. Bill and Ted go to hell, fight demons and meet some familiar faces they have met in previous adventures.

One of the envelopes shows Rufus, a timekeeper who advises the couple in the future, fighting a monster even though his time machine / phone booth is flying behind him.

Bill & Ted Roll the Dice is a new monthly series of four issues by writer James Asmus, artist Wayne Nichols, colorist Joana Lafuente, letter writer Jacob Bascle and editors R.G. Llarena and Denton J. Tipton.

The request for the first issue reads: "A duo of time travelers returns with a monthly series of best adventures! Go to hell with Bill and Ted, because they have to save their souls using rescue roles! Old friends Joan of Arc, Aleister Crow -ley, Niccolò Paganini and ... Doctor Feelgood walks around the party and picks up the GameMaster ... So -tan, exactly! "

Bill and Ted were first introduced in 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure by director Stephen Herek.

They play Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, and both loving deaf teenagers are constantly traveling when Rufus (George Carlin) appears and introduces them to many historical figures, including Abraham Lincoln, Genghis Khan and others.

The two return to Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991, directed by Peter Hewitt, in which Wild Stallins looks to hell and befriends the Grim Reaper himself (William Saddler).
