Rhodes will help the injured Buffalos by adding some much-needed veteran depth. Leslie Frazier, the Bills' defensive coordinator who was their head coach with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013, will also be reunited with him.

The 32-year-old made 13 appearances for the Indianapolis Colts in 2021. In his ninth season in the NFL, the pro bowler recorded 3 tackles, 7 defensive passes, and 1 interception.

On Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills lost top safeties Micah Hyde (neck) and Jordan Poyer (foot). Starting cornerback Dan Jackson also missed the game due to a neck injury.

Cornerback Christian Benford broke his hand last weekend. Tredavius White is yet to play this season due to a knee injury. The team therefore strikes several times.

Sunday's Week 3 loss was a clear indication of this lack of a draft secondary. In some crucial moments late in the game, the sophomore team was unable to stop wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddell.

Rhodes can help the Bills' defenses as much as they need.
