Boris Johnson Formally Offers Resignation

Liz Truss is expected to become Britain's next prime minister on Tuesday. He arrived at Queen Elizabeth's estate in Scotland, Balmoral,

 after Boris Johnson tendered his formal resignation to the monarch. During their meeting, the Queen asks Truss, leader of the Conservative Party,

or become the next prime minister of Britain because the country has a serious cost of living. Truss, 47, took office a day after 172,000 ruling party members elected him as their leader.
