Cobra Kai Season 5: Stingray Actor Teases Potential Return

Cobra Kai actor Paul Walter Hauser may return as Stingray in season 5. Cobra Kai's season 4 has upped the ante in Los Angeles' current "karate war" with Miyagi-Do.

The season produced the typical high-octane formula of martial arts, action comedy and drama, with many twists and turns.

Thomas Ian Griffith made his return to Miyagi's verse, reprising his villainous role from The Karate Kid 3 in Terry Silver, which became a thorn in the side of Daniel Larusso, Johnny Lawrence and John Krease.

Cobra Kai season 4 ended with multiple cliffhangers, including Silver bribing a referee at All Valley to secure Cobra Kai's victory, and betrayed Krease and framed him for a crime he didn't commit.

The crime in question took place in Cobra Kai season 4, when Silver brutally beat Hauser's Stingray after asking to rejoin Cobra Kai.

These episodes would be the only two appearances for Stingray, who was first introduced in the second season, where she played a much larger role.

Despite this, he would gradually rise through the ranks of Cobra Kai, but was ultimately absent from season 3 after losing his job following the fight at All Valley Community High School.

Stingray's reintroduction in season 4 was a huge surprise, but it played a key role in shaping the finale and the highly anticipated Season 5.
