FBI - Edwin Hodge to Fill Season 4 Vacancy

FBI: Most Wanted has recruited Edwin Hodge to fill in the gaps left in season 4 by the firing of Miguel Gomez.

Gomez, who played Special Agent Ivan Ortiz for two seasons, parted ways with CBS in early June, the result of what was reported at the time as a "creative decision."

At the end of season 3 in May, Ortiz left the Fugitive Task Force and returned to L.A. and take care of his sick father.

Hodge's television credits include Good Sam, Mayans MC, Chicago Fire, For All Mankind and the recent SIX.

His FBI: Most Wanted character began his career in New Orleans as a police officer turned junior detective, and was recently reassigned to Remy Scott's team from the FBI's Albany Violent Crimes Bureau.

Hodge's arrival marks the latest phase of broadcast news in the well-rated "FBI" television world. Last week it was confirmed that Christiane Paul was leaving the FBI:

International after the season and replaced by Eva-Jane Willis, while mother Missy Peregrym recently shared that after maternity leave.
