The Disney film became an instant classic upon its release in 1991, winning Academy Awards for Best Original Song and Best Score, as well as a Best Picture nomination.
To celebrate the anniversary, fans are invited to sit on the couch and watch Beauty and the Beast: The 30th Anniversary Celebration.
The special will be a hybrid between live action and animation, and will feature exclusive musical performances, breathtaking sets, new costumes and an all-star cast portraying beloved characters.
Some of the notable names include H.E.R., Josh Groban, Martin Short and Shania Twain.
This commemoration is directed by Jon M. Chu, who recently directed In the Heights and Crazy Rich Asias.
According to Craig Erwich, president of Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, “this will be a special must-see event for fans of the original and for a new generation to be introduced to this beloved story.
