Hunger Games Prequel Movie Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes Adds 5 To Cast

Lionsgate has announced that five cast members have participated in the Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Prequel to the successful YA trilogy,

The ballad about songbirds and snakes was published in 2020 by the author Suzanne Collins. Lionsgate had previously revealed in the West Side Story that Rachel Zegler would lead the cast against Tom Blyth.

Blyth is to play young Coriolanus Snow, while Zegler dies as a tribute to District 12 Lucy Gray Baird.

Today, Lionsgate has unveiled five new cast members for The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Jerome Lance dies as Marcus, a tribute to District 2.

Knox Gibson and Mackenzie Lansing will play honors from District 8 and District 4, Bobbin and Coral.

Ashley Liao and Aamer Husain will be joined by Clemensia Dovecote and Felix Ravinstill, 11th District Honorary Teachers.

Prior to the book's release, Lionsgate got into early development with the film adaptation of Ballads of Singers and Snakes.

The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes follows the original story of the saga antagonist, President Snow, as she prepares her for the 10th Hunger Games.
