Law & Order - Organized Crime Crew Shot and Killed on Show’s Set

A Law & Order: Organized Crime crew member was shot and killed by NBC on Tuesday morning.

The victim, a 31-year-old man whose name she remembered while waiting to hear from his family, was killed as he sat in his car in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn at 5:15 p.m.

According to police, officers approached the man who was unconscious and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and neck.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospital / Woodhull, where he was pronounced dead. Hindrikstraat North, where the crime happened, is a residential area.

The crew is part of production efforts to reserve space and provide security for filming equipment on location.

"We are very saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew fell victim to a crime early this morning and died as a result," he said.
