Law and order: SVU has finally introduced a new showrunner for season 24: David Grazian. Graziano is a prolific writer and television producer,
he is working on series like Lie to Me and on a series inspired by Neil Gaiman's American Gods. Most recently, he was a showrunner in the crime drama Paramount + Coyote.
Law and order: SVU previously spent some time in showrunner limbo. Longtime Law and Order Maker Warren Leight has announced his departure from SVU to end filming for Season 23
Between the two series Law and Order, Leight left the series twenty years after he began working for the franchise.
According to Deadline, the search for a new showrunner has finally ended, as Graziano has been named showrunner for Law & Order: SVU season 24.
Graziano will appear on the show as a producer along with other executive producers Dick Wolf, Julie Martin,
SVU's last season joins the next Law & Order: Organized Crime spinoff and has a new showrunner this season; Organized crime has recently brought in Bryan Goluboff,
former executive producer of SVU as a showrunner. In this role, Goluboff replaces Interim Organized Crime showrunner Barry O'Brien.
