Netflix has revealed the release date for the upcoming LeBron James-produced documentary about the 2008 USA Olympics, The Redeem Team. men's basketball team.
The 2008 U.S. men's basketball squad was known as The Redeem Team after an unfortunate bronze medal performance at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
The Redeem Team is led by Duke University's Mike "Coach K" Krzyzewski and consists of NBA stars Kobe Bryant, James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony.
In the final game to decide the gold medal, the Redeem Team defeated Spain 118-107, ending the brief gold medal drought for Team USA's men's basketball team.
The Redeem Team, a documentary about the 2008 U.S. men's basketball Olympic team, will now be available on Netflix starting on October 7, according to Deadline.
