Marvel Is Right To Break The MCU’s Crossover Obsession
MCUs used crossovers as their main film features until phase 3 and were right when they broke the crossover obsession.
Avengers: Endgame is a great movie moment with all the possible crossovers from the world of Marvel based on the story of Avengers.
Along with the main storyline, the characters have their own movies and storylines, starting with Iron Man.
Phase 4 saw the MCU expand as the universe - and the Multiverse - began to evolve. Although there are certain transitions,
as Wanda appears as a hero and villain in Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, the structure of the MCU is now a little different.
However, having Avengers cross-level movies is important to the MCU, as is a big selling point. It may be impossible to eradicate them completely, because phase 4 is forever.
These forms of connection can still be tolerated, while ensuring that the careful adaptation of phase 4 to the universe remains true.
A cautious approach to the interconnected nature of MCUs in the immediate future will make franchise life stronger than ever.
