“I ended up quitting the show. I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage.”

In her reflections on her brief appearance on the game show, the Duchess of Sussex acknowledged that she was "very grateful" to have a job that could support her financially but that she believed the position lacked "little substance."

The 41-year-old Markle, who spoke to Paris Hilton in the episode, reflected on her time spent studying foreign affairs in college and rode in an Argentinean politician's motorcade before deciding that the position didn't fit with her principles.

Because of production's "cookie-cutter vision" of how the women should look, Markle claimed that the women would "queue up" to acquire lashes, hair extensions, padding for their bras, and even coupons for spray tans.

“It was solely about beauty and not necessarily about brains,” Markle recalled, adding that a woman kept telling her to “suck it in.”

Now a mother of two, Markle expressed her desire for Lilibet to be recognised for her intelligence rather than her attractiveness.
