NASCAR World Reacts To Major Crash On Sunday

Beating Joey Logano for the NASCAR Cup Series regular season title,

Chase Elliott leads the 2022 playoffs with 15 points.

But a serious crash in today's Round of 16 could turn the entire title race upside down.

Shortly before the end of leg 1 of the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington,

Elliott's car approached the wall and began to spin. Unfortunately,

Elliot went straight to Chase Briscoe,

It collided with his car and caused extensive damage to his #9 car.

Elliott had to pit the car quickly to get back into the race.
