Peaky Blinders’ Cillian Murphy Reflects On Show’s Surprising

After last season's Peaky Blinders, Cillian Murphy revealed that the rise in popularity had shaken her.

Murphy played early 20th-century gangster Thomas Shelby in the BBC crime drama. Peaky Blinders was released in six seasons from 2013 to 2022.

As the series continues, Shelby and her family develop their criminal business by correcting races, gang fights and other illegal methods.

As his empire grew, Tommy was involved in many historical factors and opportunities and experienced events such as the growing communist movement, the Irish War of Independence,

the collapse of Wall Street and the Great Depression, Prohibition and the Rise of Fascism after World War II.

Despite the shocking success of the series, Murphy shared his feelings from last season and revealed how he still understood that the series was over.

The actor also said that working on the series led to the development of good relationships with his colleagues and the people working on the show.
