Reese Witherspoon celebrates the 20th anniversary of 'Sweet Home Alabama
Reese Witherspoon has paid tribute to the film that "completely changed" her life.

On Saturday, the Big Little Lies star shared a series of clips from the 2002 romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama on Instagram.
In the film, Witherspoon plays Melanie, a New York fashion designer who returns to her small Southern town to face a divorce from her first husband, played by Josh Lucas.
The film also stars Melanie Lynskey as her former best friend and Patrick Dempsey as her current partner who awaits her return to Manhattan.
Dakota Fanning, in one of her first roles, portrays a younger version of Witherspoon's character.

in which she plays sorority president-turned-Harvard law student Elle Woods - with a special message about how important the film is to her.
