Regé-Jean Page Didn’t Understand Bridgerton’s Simon

Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page seriously calls his character Simon Basset "awesome" and a "Regency f**kboy", but does he deserve it?

Comments from Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page suggest he never really understood his character Simon Basset.

Signing only once and without a season 2, Page confirmed that he was happy to have Bridgerton back as Duke, ending speculation that he could return in the future.

However, he didn't happen to enjoy his time on Netflix's Regency drama, but Page had some harsh words for the character that thrust him into the limelight, saying Duke was "brilliant".

At that moment he would be next to Mr. Darcy, Heathcliff and Bridgerton's own Anthony Bridgerton sit, a real play on the residence.

And it's true that Basset seemed like a bachelor before he married Daphne, to the point where Anthony refused to accept his brother's betrothal. Hypocrite.

But is Regé-Jean Page right about the Duke of Bridgerton? Is Basset on the road to no return corrected only by Daphne's influence? Is he really terrible?

When he first introduced himself to Bridgerton, he was there to do his filial duty and settle his late father's affairs, only appearing on the social scene because Lady Danbury talked him into it.
