Ron Howard Reacts to Daughter’s Success Directing The Mandalorian

Actor and director Ron Howard responds to the success of his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard, who directed Star Wars Mandalorian and Bob Fett's Book.

Ron began his acting career in iconic television films such as The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days before moving on to work behind the camera.

As a director, he led classics such as Apollo 13, Cinderella, Master Leonard's Code, Frost / Nixon, Rush and Beautiful Mind, which won an Oscar for Best Director and Best Picture.

After working with Disney / Lucasfilm at Willow in 1988, Ron took on the directing roles of Phil Lord and Chris Miller in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).

Bryce is known for starring roles such as Village, Lady in the Water, Help, 50/50, Rocketman, Pete's Dragon and the Jurassic World trilogy.

Bryce has since directed one episode of each of the two seasons of The Mandalorian and one episode of The Book of Boba Fett.

All three episodes were a hit with audiences and critics, with Bob Fett's Book Chapter 5: The Return of the Mandalorian being most praised as Star Wars.

Behind or in front of the camera, it is safe to say that his father and fans can't wait to see everything he does next.
