The Sandman Reviews: Netflix Show Is Very Faithful

Now that the live-action series adaptation of The Sandman has dropped on Netflix, critics are sharing their reviews and agree that the show mostly works.

The reviews for the long-awaited live-action adaptation of The Sandman are in, and the general consensus among critics is that the show is largely a success.

The series, which released on netflix, brings to life the mythical dc comics collection by means of neil gaiman, which at the start ran from 1989 through 1996.

The story follows the immortal entity Dream (Tom Sturridge) who is imprisoned in a ritual during World War I and is released in modern times.

He is one of a set of seven immortal brothers known as the Endless who embody metaphysical concepts that include Destiny.
