The Untold Story of AEW’s Thunder Rosa Reportedly Frustrated With Lack Of Screen Time
AEW seems to have a lot of unfortunate wrestlers behind the scenes, with the titles recently won by the MJF and now the female champion Thunder Rosa.
giving her a pair of title defenses since pinning Britt Baker in a brutal steel cage match at St. Patrick's Day Slam on March 16th.
However, the fight is almost two and a half months old, and Rosa has not fought in Wednesday Night Dynamite or Friday Night Rampage ever since.
Andy H. Murray of Whatculture.com has now exclusively announced that this lack of television time has really angered the female champion.
"Unnamed sources close to the situation say that the reigning AEW World Champions are very disappointed with the little they have done on screen.
This was reinforced by Wednesday's episode Dynamite, where Thunder Rosa did not concentrate despite the well-received Serena Deeb match in Double Or Nothing.
AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Doors, it seems unlikely that Rosa will get the spotlight for an hour because New Japan does not participate in women's wrestling.
This could prepare Rosa for an explosive race with someone like Mercedes Martinez or Deonna Purrazzo, but mid-July is too late for the current champion.
