Thor 4 Test Audiences Rate Christian Bale as Marvel’s Best Villain Yet

Gorr the God Butcher, who will play Christian Ball in Thor: Love and Thunder, has become a highly regarded villain of Marvel, according to director Taik Waititi.

In an interview with Fandango, Waititi highlighted the negative in Thor's upcoming sequel as well as Bale's performance as Gorra.

"I'd say [Gorr] is [Marvel's] friendliest villain," Waititi said. "He also tried the tallest of all the villains in Marvel."

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been criticized in the past by some fans for the way it treats some of its villains, newer examples like Thanos and Killmonger have been highly praised by fans for their complexity and subtle motivations.

After the release of the Love and Thunder trailer, some fans already felt that God Butcher would be Thor's best villain.

"What exactly do you want, what do you hope for and beyond," said Thor star Chris Hemsworth. "Nuance, complexity, depth. There's a bit of eccentricity I've never seen on the site."

And in every kind of classic villain, the fact that you're sorry or asking the questions they ask or the ideas they present. It's not just a standard type warehouse, even with a bad villain. "

Tessa Thompson, who will repeat her role as Valkyrie in the upcoming film, further describes in detail what she thinks makes Bale Gorr such a good villain.
