In a new video, Holland announces that he will stop using social media and explains why it is an essential habit.
Tom Holland has announced an indefinite break from social media on Instagram, just days after closing up his enormously popular Spider-Man trilogy.
The only pandemic-era film to surpass $1 billion was Holland's most recent MCU outing, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which exceeded even the highest hopes that could have been placed on it.
It increased Holland's already high profile by outpacing other classic box office juggernauts like Avatar and Titanic in the US.
Despite making his film debut as the most recent Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War, he has since appeared in each Avengers and Spider-Man movie.
He starred alongside Sebastian Stan and Robert Pattinson in The Devil All the Time and as Nikola Tesla in the historical drama The Civil War from 2017.
In the midst of it all, he has also received significant media attention for his ongoing relationship with Zendaya.
He said the London-based charity was dedicated to providing resources and support to young people struggling with their mental health.
