Tony Dow is Still Alive, “Leave it to Beaver” actor is still Alive

Tony Dow, the longtime actor and producer best known for his role as Wally Cleaver in "Leave It to Beaver," is Still Alive and Breathing while in hospice care.

The news comes less than three months after the actor and his wife Lauren shared a joint statement.

The sad news of his cancer diagnosis, while not revealing details about the illness, was an update on his battle with cancer last week.

Born in Hollywood in 1941, Dow began his acting career with no experience in the industry.

He played the role of Wally the Cleaver in all 234 episodes of the series, which ran from 1657 to 1963.
