Washington Reportedly Signing Notable Quarterback

The Washington Commandants are adding a veteran quarterback to their training crew.

The team will sign former New York Goliaths quarterback Jake Fromm, according to ESPN's John Keim.

When Daniel Jones suffered an injury in 2021, Fromm started two games for the Goliaths.

He failed at both starts and only completed 210 yards of passing.

in addition to three tries at blocking and one touchdown pass.

Fromm started off as the starting quarterback for the Goliaths before that.

from 2017 to 2019 at Georgia. He finished with 8,224 yards and 78 touchdown passes.

along with 18 interferences, while also completing 63% of his passes.

Wentz's finger injury is expected to keep him out for roughly the next month.

Sam Howell will act as his backup and Taylor Heinicke will start in his place.
