World Leaders Remember Her Majesty The Queen

 Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday afternoon at the age of 96.

Many world leaders have turned to social media to pay tribute.

US President Joe Biden made a lengthy statement on social media.

“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was more than a monarch. She defined an era,” he wrote.

Barack and Michelle Obama said they were "grateful to witness Her Majesty's dedicated leadership".

George W. Bush issued a lengthy statement that read: "Our world benefited from his unwavering determination."

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Twitter: "Canadians will always remember and honor Her Majesty's wisdom, compassion and warmth."

French President Emmanuel Macron said he would "remember him as a friend of France".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi extended his prayers for his "irreplaceable loss".
